Once again Rhiwbina have good representation in this years Blues South U16’s with
David Gooding, Owen Paul and Rhys Calder all making the final squad.
In the Blues
South U16’s Development squad Zach Bartlett, Huw Brobin, Jake Chilcott, Hugh Meatyard,
Tom Morris and Connor Bickford all came thru an initial selection of over 100 players
to make the final cut.

Rhiwbina U11 players Daniel Schwartz, Max Harding, James Ford, Sion Parry and Rhodri Beynon attended this years’s Cardiff Schools Presentation at Cardiff Arms Park.
Congratulations go to Max Harding and Rhodri Beynon for receiving a coach's award, and to Sion Parry for receiving Player of the Year award.

This evening saw Cardiff Schools U15’s present Caps and Photos to those players who
had represented Cardiff Schools U15’s throughout the season. Held at Cardiff Arms
Park, Rhiwbina were fortunate to have 10 boys picked for this honour.

Congratulations to Adam Nyhan, Jack Allwood and Jacob Lewis who have been picked for this season’s Cardiff Schools U15’s squad.
Also to Sam Brinkworth of the U14’s who has also been picked a year early.

Rhiwbina RFC would like to welcome new Head Coach Gareth Lintern.
Gareth is currently on the Welsh Rugby Union Elite Coaching level 4 programme and successfully coached Pontypool RFC to the Swalec League Division One title and subsequent promotion to the Welsh Premiership in his first full season.
We would like to wish Gareth every success with Rhiwbina RFC.

The committee would like to thank Ian George (Treasurer) and Bev Hampson (Reg Sec) for many years service to the Junior Section.

Rhiwbina RFC and have teamed up with Cardiff Embroidery to produce a full range of Rhiwbina branded kit and equipment in a new catalog.

Training has started every Tues and Thursdays at Whitchurch Hospital at 6:45pm
